Welcome to Websites 2 B 1 dot Com, our website that presents the sponsorship
and advertising program designed to support our Pan and
Parapan American Games web portal. In this website we will explain the concept
behind this marketing and fundraising program and how it works.
Our web portal to serve the 2015 Games
is currently made up of 18 websites and all except this website the main hub website will provide
advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Themes to serve the Pan Am
Games and Parapan Am Games activities such as: transportation and logistics,
accommodations and lodgings, entertainment and attractions, news, tickets,
sporting events, etc. Most everything relating to tourism associated with this sporting
event leading up to and during the Games.
We chose to use the "websites 2 B 1" or "to Be #1"
because we believe it fits well with the association to sports and the inherent drive to be number 1.
It also embodies the spirit to present a Pan Pam and Para Panam Games that will also be #1 and will hopefully assist
in uniting the Communities to be #1 in their energy of preparation and presentation..
The Games Belong To The People!
The Pan Am Games and the Parapan Am Games
belong to the people in the sense that they are not for profit and encourage to build a legacy of sport within
our society. In crafting this web portal our vision is to embody the spirit of
this phrase and as such we have designed the cost to participate as a sponsor to be very
affordable:

HERE'S THE CATCH:
We're asking that YOU,
the Sponsor, make a (yearly) charitable donation to one or more of the
many registered charities (you get the tax deduction) that are involved in this Pan and Parapan
American Games. In fact while we are encouraging sports charities it can be any registered charity since the
ripple effect will indeed enhance the spirit of these Games. The only other requirement beyond the contributory
yearly fee is that your linked website or websites must have "responsible" content.
(e.g. no websites whose purpose is based on generating sponsored ad revenues.)
The beautiful part of this is that we have a way to maximize Search
Engine Optimization with Linking Power for a website or websites that you want to promote while
at the same time securing resources where they are needed. Not only this but in crafting a "win as many tmes
as we can win" approach you'll also be able to support of the charity of your choice not only with money
but also with links since we will post their link and the (cummulative) donation amount you have assigned alongside your (company)
name.
Web crawlers operate on pure logic: the higher up the web page the link is, the
more important it must be and thus we are confident that we can utilise this aspect of challenging you to achieve greater
Linking Power. This being said: the links will be ranked on each of our websites in
order of how much has been donated: a good reason to start the linking (donation) process
early.as the donation amounts will be cumulative meaning you can keep topping up the amount month
after month and year after year. Imagine what your total amount could read in 2015.
WHO CAN BE A PAGE SPONSOR?
Anyone and everyone can be a page sponsor - again the linked website must
offer responsible content (versus ones based solely on generating sponsored ad revenues). For example even
if you are not in the transportation or logistics business you might want to be a sponsor and promote a business
that has served you well - had a great hotel experience then you can let the world know
about this place by sponsoring a link to their website on the Accomodations & Lodgings website
or websites.
DO SPONSORED HAVE TO BE RELEVANT TO THE WEBSITE THEME?
While we do encourage the themes to match nothing is carved in stone here.
Besides with some creative thinking we can help you find an approach that may well match the theme:
e.g. an accomodation provider could also advertise on the transportation websites
as it ties into the theme as a great place to rest after a day of driving.
Several of the websites such as NEWS, Tickets, etc. will be a perfect fit for non-specific themes.
